4CH are hosting a workshop at tourismA in Florence on Saturday morning, the 1st October which will start by bringing the audience up to date on the status of the SUM (Save the Ukraine Monuments) initiative and the first national Competence Centre which is being launched in Italy later this year by the project. The workshop mainly features a number of speakers from museums, archaeological research centres and regional heritage departments (“Soprintendenza Archeologia”) and focusses on best practices for a number of topics such as accessibility and other related initiatives.
The workshop will be held in Italian and attendance is free. Registration is required to attend.
tourismA is an international exhibition of archaeology aimed at all the cultural and economic organisations active in archaeological, artistic and monumental fields: private and public research institutes, archaeological parks and museums, tourist boards, tour operators and cultural associations. The event is held annually with workshops being introduced in 2018.
